Precise leveling and a full component inspection
Servicing at A+ Some Assembly Required starts with precise leveling and a thorough inspection of the table's components. A table only plays true when the slate underneath it sits level, and most owners never connect a bad roll to the frame beneath the cloth.
A table that has drifted out of level even slightly changes the way a ball rolls, pulling shots toward one pocket or slowing them unevenly across the bed. Catching that during a service call, rather than mid-game, is the point of a component inspection.

Hand-waxed slate seams, with pure beeswax
Where the slate panels meet, the seams get hand-waxed with pure beeswax. Nothing better than pure bees wax. A well-dressed seam keeps a ball from catching or hopping where two pieces of slate join, so the seam plays the same as the rest of the table.

Chapter 03
A structural integrity check, on tables from every era
Beyond the slate, technicians perform deep inspections of frame stability, hardware tightness, and rail alignment. Loose hardware and a rail that has crept out of alignment both change how a rail shot comes back, often before an owner can point to why.
That experience runs across Brunswick, Olhausen and Kasson tables, from rare quartersawn oak antiques to modern commercial builds. The components the shop works with are Artemis cushions from Germany and Simonis cloth from Belgium.
