Simonis cloth, from Belgium
A recover starts with the cloth itself: Simonis cloth from Belgium, the material the shop uses across its recover work. Worn cloth is more than a cosmetic problem. As it thins and the nap flattens, a ball rolls slower in some patches than others, and a shot that should hold its line starts to drift.
New cloth resets that: a true, even roll across the whole bed, the way the table played when the felt was new.

Pure beeswax on the slate seams
Where the slates meet, the seams are hand-waxed with pure beeswax. Nothing better than pure bees wax.
A seam left rough or unfilled telegraphs straight through new cloth, so a ball crossing it can hop or knuckle instead of rolling through clean. A smooth, waxed seam stays invisible to the game under the new felt.

Every recover service includes a full technical inspection and precision leveling of the slate, not just the cloth swap on its own. The shop is also happy to do custom work: updating the look of a table, matching team colors, or fitting it to a room's decor.
