Careful disassembly, before anything moves
A move starts with technical disassembly. The crew carefully strips the cloth and dismantles the slate with expert care.
At the new address the slate goes back down with precision leveling.

Chapter 03
Precision leveling on arrival, with wedges made in-house
At the new address, the slate goes back down with precision leveling. The wedges under it are solid hardwood, made in-house and glued in place.
A table that isn't level plays wrong long before anyone works out why: a ball drifts toward one pocket, or a shot that should run straight comes up short or long. Getting the slate level again is what makes a moved table play the way it did before it left.
